Instructor: Penny Boyd
Prerequisite: Beginners Weaving Course; Maximum 6 student
This should be a fun experience and help you feel more familiar with weaving. In this two-day class you will finish a project. Penny will choose a project that will be using colours to create an interesting weave structure. You will have a choice of 2/8 cotton or a wool or synthetic fiber of the same weight (e.g. orlec). You will arrive at the workshop with the warp on your loom ready to thread the project and start weaving. You will finish your project on the second day. Penny will be reviewing some of the basics from the beginners course, as well as, looking at finishing and fringes.
When you register the instructor will send you the information for the project.
Register by the end of January so you will have time to get yarn, wind your warp and put it on your loom. (Guild members may want to check out the yarn shelves at the guild.)
