Membership Information

Membership in the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners is open to all who are interested in weaving, spinning, dyeing, basketry and other fibre arts. The membership year is January 1 to December 31.

Join or renew online

Please read and follow these instructions:

• Scroll down to the form under "Checkout Options", choose the membership category that applies to you from the drop down menu.
• Be sure to indicate on the form whether you wish to receive a digital or paper copy of Fibre Focus Magazine.  If you do not indicate your preference you will receive the digital version.
• Click on the yellow "PayPal Check out" button, under "Checkout Now" when you're ready to proceed.

Existing members - before purchasing your renewal, you must log into your account ("Members Login" from top menu,) then return to this page by clicking "Membership & Donation Information" in the "Join or Donate" top menu item. Scroll down to the form under "Checkout Options" to purchase your membership renewal. If any of your information has changed (e.g. address, email, fibre focus preference, etc.) please send an email with the new information to webmaster@ohs.on.ca.

All amounts are in Canadian dollars. You do not need a PayPal account. You will be given the option to pay by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal.

When renewing your membership please consider a donation to OHS. Click on the yellow Donate button if you wish to do so (note: this is a separate transaction.)

Method of Payment

We use Paypal to process payments, but you don't need a Paypal account to pay.  You are given the option to pay with credit card. Thank you!

Important - please read:  In Canada, to receive the printed version of Fibre Focus Magazine, indicate your preference in the membership purchase form. United States members need to pay additional shipping cost to receive the printed version of Fibre Focus. US members may purchase this option after buying / renewing their membership, logging into the members' only section, and going into the OHS Products section of the shop.

Please note that the printed magazine is not available to members outside of Canada or the United States.

All members have access to the online version of Fibre Focus.

Note: Senior/Youth membership is for ages 65+ or <25
